Anleitung

  1. Drop PNG Files: Drag PNGs in. Multiple files supported. PNG's transparency is preserved in the PDF — we don't force a white background unless you ask for it.
  2. Page Settings: Choose page size (A4, Letter, match image), orientation (auto/portrait/landscape), and transparency handling (preserve / add-white-background / transparent-only).
  3. Convert: Click 'Convert to PDF'. Each PNG becomes a page in your browser via pdf-lib. Works offline — disconnect from internet after the page loads, conversion still completes.
  4. Save: Download the PDF. PNGs at full resolution embedded as pages. Perfect for shareable design assets, printed mockups, or fast web display (PDFs load in any browser).

Häufige Fragen

Does PNG transparency survive the conversion to PDF?

Yes. Our tool preserves PNG transparency in the PDF by default. Designers using PNGs with transparent backgrounds (logos, icons, UI elements) get pages with transparent backgrounds in the PDF — useful when the PDF will be composited onto another surface. To force a white background, toggle 'Preserve transparency' off.

Can I convert PNG to PDF offline?

Yes. Open our Image to PDF tool, let the page load fully (it caches the conversion libraries in your browser), then disconnect from internet. Drop your PNGs, click 'Convert', and the resulting PDF saves locally — no upload, no network calls during conversion.

How big can the PNG files be?

We handle PNGs up to 50 MB each and 500 MB total per session. For very large PNGs (high-resolution photography typically), use JPG instead. PNG is best for graphics (logos, illustrations, screenshots) where lossless quality matters.

Does it work for multi-image PDFs?

Yes — drop multiple PNGs at once. Each becomes a page in the resulting PDF. You get one PDF with N pages. Useful for design archives, illustration portfolios, or UI mockup collections. Drag-to-reorder, then convert.

Will my PNGs be uploaded?

No. pdf-lib processes everything locally. Whether you're converting confidential design assets, unreleased products, or medical imagery, all files stay on your device. Output PDF is created locally.

What's the difference between PNG and JPG conversion?

PNG: lossless compression, supports transparency, ideal for graphics. JPG: lossy compression, no transparency, ideal for photos. For the PDF output: JPG photos produce smaller files; PNG graphics produce crisper text and line art. Use PNG for screenshots and diagrams; use JPG for photographs.
