Yes — we detect common formats: US banks (MM/DD/YYYY), European banks (DD.MM.YYYY), Asian banks (YYYY-MM-DD), and Asian YYYY/MM/DD. Description column is left as text (banks vary too widely to standardize). Currency codes (USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CNY) are detected and exported as a separate column.

How accurate is the transaction extraction?

Most bank statements extract at 99%+ accuracy because they have highly structured tables. Edge cases include: multi-page statements where the summary row appears on a new page, statements with running balances, statements with international descriptions. These may need minor manual adjustments in Excel.
