Drag Pages: Click a thumbnail to select it. Drag to the new position — release to drop. Multi-select with Shift+click or Cmd/Ctrl+click. Select all with Ctrl+A. The order preview updates live.
Refine: Use the up/down arrow buttons for fine moves. Delete unwanted pages with the trash icon (saved to the trash section, recoverable within the session). Click thumbnails to preview full page in detail.
Save Reordered PDF: Click 'Save'. The reordered PDF downloads with pages in your chosen sequence. Original content is preserved — only page order changes.

How do I rearrange pages in a PDF?

Open our PDF Organize tool, drop your PDF, and drag page thumbnails into the new order. Click 'Save' when done. The reordered PDF downloads in seconds — all processing happens in your browser, no upload needed.

Can I move multiple pages at once?

Yes — select multiple pages with Ctrl/Cmd+click or Shift+click, then drag the whole group as one. Use this to move entire chapters, sections, or ranges. For very large documents (300+ pages), filter or search to quickly locate specific pages.

Does it work for large PDFs?

Yes — tested with 1000+ page PDFs (book drafts, scanned archives). Initial render takes a few seconds; drag operations remain snappy because we only re-render the affected pages. The output PDF preserves quality and metadata identical to the input.

Can I undo a reorder mistake?

Yes — full undo/redo history (Ctrl+Z / Cmd+Z). Every drag operation is reversible until you click 'Save'. Restoring the original order takes one click on the 'Reset' button. Until you save, the original PDF is untouched.

Will my PDF be uploaded?

No. pdf-lib processes everything in your browser. Whether your PDF contains financial statements, exam papers, or confidential reports, the file and resulting reordered PDF stay on your device.

Can I also rotate or delete pages while organizing?
