- Pick Output Settings: Slide size: 16:9 widescreen (modern default), 4:3 classic (legacy projectors), or match PDF aspect ratio. Text-extract mode or image-embed mode.
- Convert: Click 'Convert to Slides'. pptxgenjs builds the .pptx file in your browser via WebAssembly. Most PDFs complete in 5-15 seconds.

What's the difference between 16:9 and 4:3?
16:9 is the modern widescreen aspect ratio — used by all current laptops, monitors, and projectors. 4:3 is the classic aspect — still found in some conference rooms and older projectors. Most slides you create today should use 16:9 unless you're targeting a specific 4:3 projector. Pick 'Match PDF aspect ratio' to preserve the source layout exactly.
Can I extract specific slides from a long PDF?
Yes — use our PDF Split tool first to extract the pages you want (e.g. slides 5-20), then convert that subset. Or use PDF Organize to delete unwanted pages, then convert. Both flow locally.
Will my presentation be uploaded?
