How do I convert a PDF to JPG images?

What DPI should I choose?

For screen viewing and social media: 72 DPI is enough and produces small files. For standard previews and printing on home printers: 150 DPI is good. For high-quality print (300 DPI for a printer's expected DPI, e.g. photo book printing): use 300 DPI. Higher DPI = larger file size but sharper output.

Can I convert a 100-page PDF to JPG?

Yes — tested with 200+ page documents. Processing time scales with page count × DPI. A 100-page PDF at 150 DPI typically completes in 30-60 seconds on a modern device. The output ZIP will contain page-001.jpg through page-100.jpg.

Will my PDF be uploaded?

No. pdfjs-dist processes everything in your browser. Confidential reports, exam papers, personal documents — all stay on your device. Output JPGs and ZIP are created locally.

Can I get PNG instead of JPG?

Yes — for lossless quality, choose 'PNG' as the output format. PNG produces larger files but preserves every detail. JPG is recommended for photos and screen-size previews; PNG is better for screenshots and graphics with sharp edges or transparency.

What if I want only specific pages?
