Frequently Asked Questions

What file formats are supported?

Input: PDF files. Output: PowerPoint (.pptx) files compatible with Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides, and LibreOffice Impress.

Are my PDFs uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser using a Web Worker with OffscreenCanvas. Your files never leave your device.

Can I edit the text in the resulting PPT?

When "Include text layer" is enabled, the tool extracts text from the PDF and adds it as editable text boxes in PowerPoint. The original slide images are also preserved as backgrounds. Note that complex layouts or unusual fonts may not extract perfectly.

What layout options are available?

"Original" preserves the PDF page dimensions. "Fit to Slide" scales the content to fit standard PowerPoint slide dimensions (10in × 7.5in).

How many slides can I convert?

Up to 100 slides per file. For larger PDFs, consider splitting the file first. The conversion progress is shown for each slide.

Does it preserve animations and transitions?

No. PDF files do not contain animation or transition data. The resulting PPT will contain static slides with the content from each PDF page.
