Common Questions

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. Organizing runs entirely in your browser using pdf-lib — your file never leaves your device. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool will still work fully offline.

Can I reorder pages by dragging them?

Yes. Each page in the preview is a draggable card. Drag a card to a new position to reorder pages instantly. You can also click a card to select it and use the on-card up/down buttons or the keyboard J/K shortcuts.

Can I delete or duplicate specific pages?

Yes. Click a page card to select it, then press the trash button to remove it (the PDF keeps at least one page) or the duplicate button to insert a copy immediately after. Keyboard shortcuts: Del removes a page, Cmd/Ctrl+D duplicates it.

Can I rotate pages while I organize?

Yes. Each card has rotate-left and rotate-right buttons. You can also press the R key to rotate the selected page 90° clockwise, or Shift+R for counter-clockwise. A 'Rotate all 90° clockwise' button is available in the toolbar for batch rotation.

Is there a limit on file size or page count?

No hard limit. The tool processes the entire file in your browser, so the practical limit is your device's available memory. A 1,000-page PDF is comfortably handled on any modern laptop or phone.

What if my PDF is password-protected?

You will be prompted for the password. Decryption happens locally in your browser and the password is never sent to a server. After unlocking, organizing proceeds normally.

Will organizing reduce PDF quality?

No. Pages are copied byte-for-byte except for their final position and rotation. Text, images, fonts, annotations, and form fields are preserved exactly as in the source PDF.

Is the tool really free?

Yes. There is no charge, no sign-up, no watermark, and no limit on the number of files you can organize. The tool is supported by non-intrusive advertising on the surrounding pages.
